Ski Season Going Downhill

An unusual number of passes have been revoked on Snowmass Mountain this season for kids being “too gnarly”. The lack of care that students show while driving has transferred over to the attitudes of teen skiers.

“I’m sick of all the young, “professional” skiers and snowboarders doing tricks, parking in front of my restaurants, and not to mention the speeding! All the time these kids are speeding and I’m tired of it!” long time local skier Old Man Withers said.

The frustrations of all skiers on the mountain are beginning to rise. The old are mad at the chaos teens are bringing to the mountain and the students are becoming furious with all their passes being pulled.

“So what, I was only going 80 and those powder pandas came outta nowhere! It’s not like I meant to send those little ones to the Emergency Room,” senior Jonathan Shreds said. Shreds, among others, are outraged at their passes being revoked. There have been over four hundred passes taken this week alone.

“These kids are becoming a problem. They’re irresponsible and they ski away whenever I even try to make friendly conversation. Now I have to actually put effort in to my job every day, damn kids,” Ski Patrol employee Too Slow said.

There are rumors of an uprising by teens, Ski Co employees, and old-time ski bums alike. The only thing that could keep us safe now is some fresh powder to get everyone’s mind off it.
