Best Things To Do In May if You Have Spring Fever
As winter comes to a close, and the days become longer and warmer, the alignment of wonderful weather provides many opportunities to enjoy the outdoors with friends and family! Here are five things you can do during May if you have spring fever.
Red Rocks Amphitheater
Red Rocks is a stone formation outside of Denver Colorado. At Red Rocks, one can watch the sunrise while doing yoga or go to an EDM concert!
Visit a National, State, Local park
Whether it is warm enough to go camping, or just a day trip, Colorado state parks boast breathtaking views, incredible hiking trails, and wildlife watching! North of Moab lies Arches National Park which boasts over 2,000 stone arches, soaring pinnacles, and other rock formations.
Soak in a Hot Springs
A great day activity everyone can enjoy is visiting one of Colorado’s hot Springs! In our own valley is Glenwood Hot Springs, Colorado largest outdoor mineral hot spring!
Get lost – Play tourist in Aspen, Carbondale, and Basalt.
Spend a day wondering about our own valley. Walk into shops you’ve never been in before such as Bandana in downtown Aspen. Order something new instead of your regular at your favorite restaurant, or drive down valley and eat at a restaurant you’ve never been to, such as the Little Smithy in Carbondale for brunch.
Head Down to Denver
Want to get out of town? Head down to Denver and explore all the arts, culture, and eats it has to offer! Head to Coors Field and watch the Rockies play, or enjoy the indigenous works at the Denver Art museum.
