Listen up high schoolers! You are always on your phones, so why not make life easier by downloading some apps that will help you with school? With these apps, you will find yourself more organized and ready for school, and the best part is that they’re all free.

Quizlet- Have a big test coming up but still don’t know the best way to study? Well, this app makes it easy. All you have to do is search the topic and you will have everything you need. Quizlet provides a lot of different and effective ways to study, including flashcards, pretests, and writing short answers. You can have many different sets of topics and they will all save on your account so you can come back to them when you have to study for finals.

Headspace- Had a long day and don’t know how to relax? This mindful meditation app can solve that. With Headspace, you receive mindful courses that relieve stress, promote personal growth, boost productivity, and help with falling asleep. This app is a great way to remind yourself to relax. You don’t even need much time to it because the app offers a quick 3-minute meditation.  Headspace is a crucial tool before a test or if you have a lot of homework to do.

My Homework Student Planner- If you need to stay more organized with upcoming activities and due dates, My homework student planner is the perfect app for you. The app is specifically designed to organize your hectic classwork. You can organize your work by the most important or by the days of the week. It will be more structured too because your classes can be sorted. You may find that using a written planner is hard because you may forget to write in it. With My Homework Student Planner, you can just take your phone out and type out out dates.

Final Grade Calculator- With finals coming up everyone is desperate to know what grade they will need in order to pass their classes.  This app is a quick solution. To use the app, put in the grades you have in your classes, the percentage of the final, and the grade you want to end with. The app will calculate what percent you will have to get on the final.

Niche-  Niche is the perfect way to select the right college for you. You can put in what you’re willing to pay, your preferred major, your desired size of the college, and it even recommends the best professors. You can see also see how the school performs in academics, athletics, and diversity. The app also provides the cost of the school, the acceptance rate, and the scores you need to receive on the SAT and ACT to be accepted. You can also “see if you would get in” by putting in your GPA and SAT or ACT score. Niche will help you find a college that fits all your needs.

Audible- If you were assigned to read a book for class, but you also have a busy day, just download Audible and you can listen to it while you’re on the go.  With Audible, you can adjust the pace of the book to fit your needs. You will walk into class knowing what is going on in the book and not fall behind. You can find tons of books and understand them better when you hear it read aloud.

These are useful (and free) apps that improve daily organization and establish a better feeling of coordination. They will set you up for success and help you achieve your goals as a student.
