The timeline of different generations

Generation Z: A person born between 1996-2010. Some may know this generation as Gen Z or the newest generation, or even the selfie generation\; stereotyped for being glued to our phones, not knowing how to talk to people in real life, and even not knowing about how old phones worked in the past.
Generation Z is the first to consistently have school shootings. Cording to CNN in 2019 the first 46 weeks there were 45 school shootings. Our generation is seeing the effects of rising temperatures Gen Z is taking action on climate change,
Gen Z has a lot of stress upon their shoulders, including finding ways to afford to pay for college and how to not sit in student debt.
Millennials: born between 1981 – 1996. Had a huge impact on money. Millennials grew up in a time of healthy economy only to find that it got worse after they got a job having to delay having a family, traveling and staying in student debt. Generation Z has a practical view of money, so they will be able to pay off debt faster. Students don’t want to drown in college debt for the rest of their lives. Thinking of money and paying it off is stopping someone from even going to college.
With more trash piling up in the ocean, ocean levels rising due to climate change, and freshwater rapidly declining, we are the environmental generation. The first climate strike was in 2018 to speak up to government officials, wanting climate change to stop before it’s too late. Educating others on how to help our planet by composting, using recycled materials in clothing, and using a metal water bottle instead of a plastic one. We see the big impact climate change has had on us and want to fix it.
Generation Z will find most jobs in marketing, engineering, and computer science. There is an expectation that all of Generation Z knows a lot about technology, and how to influence people to buy a product.
There are many expectations from past generations that cause our stress levels to rise. According to the New York Times, 90% of the population of Generation Z is stressed. This can be due to school, family pressure, social media, and even thinking about the future. This could explain why suicide rates have been higher than ever. There’s so much pressure on Gen Z to fix what’s wrong with the world.
