Hallie Zilberman, Staff Writer
Having lived all over the world, from New York to London, to Vail (poor choice) to Aspen, Hallie Zilberman knows a thing or two because she’s seen a thing or two. Her global experience has created her love for learning about other cultures and places. She loves traveling the world with her parents and her two brothers, Blake and Bennett. She has traveled to five continents, and her favorite trip was to the Maldives. Some of her favorite things to do, in addition to traveling, are dancing, writing, and baking. Her main sport is dance, and she has danced for 13 years and is on the AHS varsity Dance Team. Hallie’s favorite dance style is lyrical. She loves all of her dance team friends and says some lessons dance has taught her are discipline, organization, and that you need to work for what you want – nothing comes overnight. One lesson Hallie likes to live by is that you can not always be the smartest person in the room, but you can always be the hardest worker. She applies this wherever she can, from dance to school, and even to ExEd. Hallie has loved to write since she was a little girl and would read magazines that came in the mail. Her passion for journalism began just last year, but she is incredibly excited to be in Advanced Journalism this year!
