SATIRE– Contrary to popular belief, students have loved CREW from the start. From the moment the administration announced the new addition to the schedule, students have been over the moon about attending CREW meetings.

The purpose of CREW is to bring students from around the school together to create very meaningful relationships with each other over z00m.

As expected, CREW has become hugely popular. Every student in the school has shown up to all of their CREW meetings, and everyone loves the program. Student believes they have created some of the best friendships of their lives.

Aha Chiller, a senior at AHS, finds CREW to be the most productive part of her day.

“CREW has become not only the most useful class, but also the most fun! I look forward to it every week, and I definitely do not find it to be a waste of time in any way, shape or form,” Chiller said.

Even though students are loving CREW, teachers aren’t so passionate about the program. Timbah Cymbol, AHS English teacher, believes that there are better ways to spend that time.

“Students could be catching up on assignments, having time to talk to their teachers, or getting service hours. I could be grading papers, making my agendas for class, ANYTHING besides CREW,” Cymbol said.

Teachers and students have very diverse opinions about CREW, and Sarah Strosshotdog, AHS principal, is conflicted about what to do with it.

“I get where the teachers are coming from with their complaints, but I love that the students are such a fan of CREW. I wish the staff and students could just agree so I could figure out what the heck to do with CREW,” Strosshotdog said.
