PRESS RELEASE: On Tuesday, September 14, ASD announced that John Castrese has been hired in that position following the recent departure of Aspen High School Athletic Director Martha Richards.
Castrese is relocating from Washington, DC. He graduated from the University of North Texas in 2002 with a Masters in Sports Education. From there, he has worked at three schools in Riverside, CA, Salem, OR, and Washington, DC as an athletic director, as well as other positions including Dean of Students at the Oregon School of the Deaf and Director of Student Life at the Model Secondary School of the Deaf.
AHS welcomes Castrese to the school.
