2017 X-Games Lineup

ASPEN — At the base of Buttermilk, in the middle of extreme sports, Bassnectar, Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, The Chainsmokers and G-Eazy will take the stage for the 2017 Aspen Winter X-Games this January.

Lorin Ashton is a DJ, producer and remixer using the stage name Bassnectar. He is known for dubstep, drum and bass, breakbeat and electronica. He is, “one of the longest-standing and most-respected artists in American electronic dance music,” says X-Games Aspen. One of his most popular songs is his remix of the song “Lights” originally by Ellie Goulding. Bassnectar will be performing on Friday, Jan. 27. Tickets are sold out for both the general access and the preferred sections.

Brandon Anderson (a.k.a Anderson .Paak) is an American singer-songwriter, rapper, virtuoso drummer and producer. He and his band, The Free Nationals, are known for contemporary R&B, hip hop, funk and soul music. “The Season/Carry Me” is one of the group’s most popular songs. Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals will be performing on Saturday, Jan. 28. Tickets are currently still available.

Duo Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall are the DJs, producers and songwriters that make up The Chainsmokers. They are known for electronic dance, electro house, progressive house, trap music and future bass music. Their most recent top hit is “Closer” featuring Halsey. They will be performing on Saturday, Jan. 28. Tickets are sold out for both the general access and the preferred sections.

Gerald Earl, known as G-Eazy, is a rapper, songwriter and record producer. “Bay Area rapper G-Eazy is 2016’s biggest breakout hip-hop artist,” Aspen X-Games says. The genre of his songs is categorized as hip-hop. G-Eazy’s top hit is “Me, Myself & I” from his 2015 album “When It’s Dark Out.” He will be performing on Saturday, Jan. 29. Tickets are currently available.

Belly Up will also have its own weekend lineup with Kygo, The Chainsmokers, Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals and G-Eazy.

Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll, a.k.a Kygo, is an Avicii-inspired producer and DJ. He is known for tropical house, deep house, downtempo and electronica. One of Kygo’s top hits is “Firestone” featuring Conrad Sewell. He will be performing Jan. 26 and 28. The tickets are sold out on both nights.

The Chainsmokers will be performing on Jan. 27 and are sold out. Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals will performing on Jan. 29 and currently has available tickets. G-Eazy will also be performing on Jan. 29 and currently has available tickets.
